Epoxy Flooring in Marong
Marong has a flood plan of its own. The Greater Bendigo Planning Scheme tells decision makers to consider the Marong Local Floodplain Development Plan (North Central Catchment Management Authority, September 2024), and its settlement policy says growth west, south and east of the township is subject to bushfire, flooding and biodiversity constraints.

Epoxy Flooring around Marong
A 2024 report by the planning panel on Amendment C263gben, hosted by the council, sets out applying a Floodway Overlay to high flood hazard land along the Bullock and Fletchers Creeks and major flood paths within and adjacent to the Marong township. Whether that overlay is now in the scheme is not something we read, and this page does not say that any address is inside it. What the scheme itself says, in the policy above, is enough to show that flooding is a planning constraint here.
None of these sources mentions floor coatings, so what follows is our inference, not a rule: if your shed or garage floor is in or near a flood path, a provider who is told so can plan for water on the floor and for where wash-water goes. Ask what they check before coating, how the floor drains, and what the quote says if water comes up during the job. We state no moisture limit, because no non-commercial source gives one.

Our Marong service area
An enquiry from Marong is passed on to an independent qualified provider, who gets in touch to look at the floor.
